May 24, 2009 - Wheeler's goalie Micheal Kent from Hanover Ont, a long time Roller Hockey player , friend, and promoter of inline hockey passed this past week due to a long time lung ailement. Mike only had use of one lung but still strived to play the game he loved which was Hockey.Playing in Narch twice and many tournaments over the 10 years he played with the Wheelers he had hoped to recover to play in the 35 and over division this year.He was a beacon of hope to people fighting through illnesses and will be sorly missed by family and friends.

Offer your members the chance to see how inline should and can be played! Bring yourself out and we’ll prove we can teach old dogs new tricks. I’m 38 and I came away knowing how to play a better inline game, and I need it playing against today’s younger members!

March 9 2009 - OMRHA Referee Certification Clinic and Process
The OMRHA will hold a Referee-In-Chief (RIC) Leadership Clinic.
This clinic will be held in a central location. It is suggested that member league RIC’s attend this seminar. Where a RIC has attended this seminar, they will then be eligible to return to their local leagues and instruct their clinics.
All clinic materials will be sought from the OMRHA RIC. A minimum of 4 weeks’ notice must be provided. An OMRHA appointed representative will be present at all member league run clinics. Please visit the Clinic Page for more information. |
